I made this twill sampler shawl and gifted it to my dad. He said it reminded me of the heavy shawls shepherds wear. He really liked it. He liked it so much he wanted to wear it to his friend's daughter's wedding. My mom did not like that. It stood out a bit too much for her. But he wore it anyways, and got all his friends to too.
